EU increased its pressure on Iran

European Union took the bloc of the new economic sanctions against Iran which are expected to be imposed since this Tuesday, 16 October 2012. The ban of all the bank operations and transactions and the ban of the gas export to Europe are among those sanctions imposed by EU.

The Western countries are trying to convince Iran to continue the negotiations about the controversial nuclear program of Islamic Republic. EU insists that Iran should refuse its nuclear program of the possible creating of the full cycle of the production of nuclear weapon.
The sanctions imposed against Iran will affect the key sectors of Iranian economy such as energy sector, trade, financial sector and telecommunications as well.
